Facilitating Mensa Process ideation
sessions is a unique and wonderful experience. Obviously, these
people are bright, but I work with bright people all the time.
The difference is that Mensa members have an inherent love of
solving puzzles and making interesting connections between words
and ideas. Plus, there is a healthy one-upmanship that makes
for a dynamic and fun session.

Mensa Process
brainstorming sessions are different from most. By combining
brilliant minds from your field and others, we quickly get to
the heart of the problem, taking ideas farther and faster than
traditional brainstorming participants will. We take the time
to build just the right teams of smart, creative minds.
Fast-paced and energized, our ideation sessions often include
stenographers, illustrators, and artists to capture all the
ideas and — on the spot — turn these valuable insights
into practical processes and prototypes. Frequently, someone
in the group will offer an irreverent but relevant remark that
leads to new and useful idea sources. The group’s diversity
and its depth of knowledge about even the most obscure subjects
mean that we have, in any session, a rich associational base
from which to generate and develop new ideas.
Our renowned facilitator, author Bryan Mattimore, has conducted
more than 500 new platform and new product brainstorming sessions.
Using techniques such as semantic intuition, technology triggers,
and trend bending, Bryan has helped teams dig deep to uncover
innovations for such companies as Unilever, PepsiCo, Procter
& Gamble, Time Warner, Ford, and Kraft.
